Tied up.
Five big ropes holding the back end of the ship to the dock.
The next door neighbor.
Somebody else's ship parked next to us in Juneau. Note the beautiful sky, it was like that all day.
Ghost ship.
Night shot of another cruise ship in the Juneau harbor, with some low lying clouds.
Foggy hillside
Pretty neat watching the clouds move through the trees on a hill side next to the Juneau harbor.

A baby glacier.

Margerie Glacier, Alaska
View of glacier from the ship. One of the best sites visible from the water while cruising Glacier Bay National Park.
Lighthouse in Sitka, Alaska.
I think it may have actually been a lighthouse at one time. Now it's a residence available for rent. The only access is by boat. And if you rent it, what do you do the second day? I'd have cabin fever in no time.
Sitka harbor.
Looking at the Westerdam through some of the local fishing trawlers in Sitka.
Sitka Bay.
These small islands and fingers of land are all around Sitka Bay. Very scenic and wonderful wildlife habitat.

Another small island in Sitka Bay. The trees grow right to the edge of the land.
Sea lions in Sitka Bay.
This family was seen from the boat tour. Notice the starfish stuck on the rock in the lower left corner.
Seals in Sitka Sound.
This group was sitting on a buoy, and were sound asleep when we arrived. After we circled them a couple times with the boat, they got a little suspicious but never left the buoy. The pups seemed curious, but the mother didn't look real happy.
Whale tail, Sitka.
A lot of this in Sitka Bay. We saw some complete breaches, but the sea was too rough to get a good shot. Maybe next time.
