Canyon Strike
An amazing evening, on Moran point as I recall. This image was a finalist in the recent Outdoor Photographer's American Landscape contest.
North Rim, just after sunset
A blue hour shot taken many years ago. Taken from the veranda at the North Rim Lodge.

Note the raft far upstream.
Diamond Peak, from the campground
A dramatic peak, near the end of a ten-day trip down the river. The trip leader wanted to camp closer to the peak, but fortunately we were able to convince him to stay back a ways that would allow this view.
Yaki point morning
I waited several weeks for the sun to get to just the right angle to reflect off this pillar at Yaki Point. Taken in early October, 2013.
North Kaibab, rest stop
As we descended the trail on a rainy morning, a fortuitous beam of light came through onto this golden cliff. The red stone to the left side gave some pinkish glow to the fog. The whole scene only lasted about three minutes before the cloud settled back in.
National Canyon, side hike from the river
Nice view point of the trail, taken from the Yaki point side, looking south.
Foggy morning, Pima point
North Canyon, after a rain storm
Grandview trail, looking west, late afternoon
A bit of a tricky trail to hike on, but definitely one of the most scenic.
