Nankoweap, gently softened view
Easily one of my favorite locations on the river, worth a trip back if I could spend a couple days here. We were here in an unusually rainy period, and the guides said they could not recall seeing the canyon so green.
The light was particularly harsh at the time we were there, so I've had to apply some creative editing to try to capture the real feel for the place. I've reworked this image multiple times, and still haven't managed to get it completely right.
